Who is Vida Wines?
Vida Wines introduces and imports boutique wines to the USA. We select small-scale wineries that respect a natural wine making approach, and wines that express attributes of the land in which it is grown. Our portfolio of red and white single varietals, blends, rosés, and sparkling wines focus on terroir and other elements of individuality.

How do you select the wines in your portfolio?
We spent months in the wine growing regions, visiting wineries, tasting the wines, tasting them again double-blind, and meeting with the winemakers to understand their stories and wine making approach. We select only the most special for our portfolio.

Shipping

What are Shipping costs?
Each collection and each wine club shipment has a flat rate shipping fee of $10. For bottle orders from our store, 4 or more bottles going to the same address ships for a flat rate of $10. For orders of 3 bottles or less, we ship for a flat rate of $15 per address.

What is a pre-order?
On occasion we offer pre-orders of wines, which are available to purchase before they’ve arrived to our warehouse. A pre-order allows you to reserve the wine with a credit card guarantee. Your credit card is charged only when the wine arrives to our warehouse and your order is processed and shipped to you. Due to the variable nature of pre-order wines, shipping dates are subject to change.

When can I expect to receive my order?
Orders received by 1pm ET on a business day will be shipped the following business day. Orders received after 1pm ET will be shipped on the 2nd business day. Orders are shipped via FedEx Ground, which can take between 1 to 5 business days, in addition to the order processing time. The delivery date for your wines will depend on the distance from our warehouse and the day the order was received.

Deliveries occur Monday through Friday. You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information from FedEx once the wines have been shipped.

What shipping address should I use?
An adult who is 21 years of age or older is required to receive the delivery and must provide a signature. Packages will not be left at the door. Customers can have packages held at the local Fedex hub or Fedex Office, visit Fedex.com with your tracking number to request this service.

We cannot ship wine to P.O. boxes.

Do you ship in bad weather?
Wine is perishable and fragile and maintaining the quality of the wine is our highest priority. We reserve the right to modify our shipping methods and timeframes to ensure the quality of the wines.

What happens if FedEx cannot deliver my package?
FedEx will attempt to deliver your package 3 times before sending it back to our warehouse. “Return to Sender” is very costly and customers are responsible for all associated charges. We cannot be held responsible for charges incurred for the return and re-shipping of the package. There is a $50 fee for all undelivered orders returned to the warehouse.

Can I ship to my work address?
We strongly advise shipping to a business to ensure that your wines are delivered on the first attempt.

Do you offer expedited shipping?
Usually we can offer an expedited shipping method at an additional cost. Please contact support@vida-wines.com.

Are shipping dates guaranteed?
We reserve the right to modify or postpone shipping dates due to weather considerations or for any other reason.

Can you hold my order?
Yes, at the time of the order you request that your order is held until a specific date. Please indicate your preference at check-out.

Why can’t I ship wines to my state?
Alcohol laws vary from state to state. We are advocates for consumer choice in wine and support efforts to remove restrictions in states that still prohibit consumers from purchasing wines directly from wineries and retailers.

How do I change my payment method, shipping address or other account information?

Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address.

Customer Service

Is my credit card information secure?
Our site is encrypted with the SSL (secure sockets layer) protocol, which protects personal data you provide. Credit card transactions are processed using authorize.net. For more information on their security measures check out their website.

What if my wine arrives damaged?
Please email support@vida-wines.com with details and photos so we can determine the best solution.

What do I do if I don’t like a wine?
