Krontiras wines puts their unique mark in winemaking with a style that was a pioneer in Argentina: natural wines where the intervention of man in the vineyard does not alter the ecosystem. They are the first winery in Mendoza to process organic and biodynamic grapes in their own certified and organic winery. Winemaker Maricruz Antolin explains in biodynamics, they think of the vineyards as a living system, with a goal to develop a totally natural cultivation.
Dedicated to producing natural wines through organic and biodynamic growing, Silvina Macipe-Krontiras and Constantinos Krontiras developed this family-owned winery in 2004. Love for Argentina and passion for exceptional wine gave birth to Bodega Krontiras, whose wines offer a distinguished, natural expression for the terroir of Mendoza.
Maricruz was born into a family of enologists and has been with Krontiras since earning her degree in agronomy. Consulting winemaker, Panos Zoumboulis studied in Bordeaux and has vast winemaking experiences throughout Europe. He oversees the vineyards and creates the blends for the wines.
Krontiras makes great wines with a classic profile and considerable complexity, which can be enjoyed today or evolve perfectly well with time in the bottle.
